variable vane turbo.

what input is the. variable vane controler looking for in order to operate?

wanting to put one on a OBS and need to design a stand alone controller for the VVT.

There is someone on here who did it before. I'd search you tube for it cause he has a video on there. it sounded gooooooooood but I think the vgt couldn't flow enough for a 7.3.
Now, if you get the controller working, then you could get madpowerstroke to mod you a vgt that would flow enough

I believe Fleece Performance (mainly Duramax folks in central Indiana) has done this on the variable turbos found on the 2005+ Duramax trucks. And I believe on Dodge Cummins VGT's. You may check with them. They make an electronic unit that controls the VVT, VGT to act as an exhaust brake but I believe it also allows them to operate the turbos stand alone in other applications. Perhaps they could help or maybe their controller could be easily adapted to Powerstroke VGT's. Just a thought. I've been to their shop back when I had my 2002 HD2500. Good folks, good products. They make many of their own products and are widely known in the Duramax world.
