EGR Silicone Hose Upgrade?

i have been reading about the orange egr silicone hose that people recommend upgrading to part # 4C4Z-8592-AA. my question is if i have an egr delete on the truck should i still upgrade this hose while i'm doing the head studs? i have no idea what this hose is or its function but i have read a few threads where people say it needs to be upgraded. any ideas?

Normally, from the delete kits I have seen used, they come with a new hose.

And they have mainly been blue.

depending on the delete kit you use it may or may not come with it's own tube. lots of the kits out there now don't use the factory coolant tube but rather supply you with a piece of hose and a couple clamps.
