I got some screen, cut it to fit, and put some self tapping screws around the edges. Holding great.
That sensor is the temp sensor for the OTC.

I haven't been running a screen for years also. I recently removed the cover to my stock intake and found maybe less than 10 bee's stuck to the donaldson. The donaldson was dry and didn't show any signs of water damage so I put the cover back on.

I worry in the rain though, if too much water get's through and soaks the donaldson? But the donaldson is pretty deep length wise and dense so I'm not sure how 'soaked' it could get.
