What kind of synthetic oil to use in my 6.0 Powerstroke?

I have a 2005 F-350 with the 6.0 powerstroke, i'm looking to do an oil change today and switch over to synthetic, which is the best synthetic oil to run in it? And another question what should my ECT's and EOT's average? I think my truck runs a little a hot..? Thanks

I run Rotella T6 with no problems whatsoever, but if you want a true synthetic with no Paraffin (some believe this is what casused stiction) then use Amsoil brand.

Rotella T5 in the wintertime and T6 in the summertime. It's been in the 80's and time to change my oil, so today she will change to T6.

Mobile 1 makes the best off the shelf synthetic. Turbo diesel found at walmart, or Mobile 1 Synth Delvac can be found at truck stops, its the heavy duty version, what i personally run, but spendy...

Shawn, if you don't mind me asking, why the different oils in the different seasons?

I currently am using Valvoline extreme blue. Will be switching to Mobile 1 5w40 next change. I also considered Redline's ester based 5w/40, pricey but supposed to be good.
