1. I'd get a drop in airraid over anything else. It utilizes the oem routing configuration to the turbo so it's not a lot to install.
2. If you insist on the edge that is your call I just wouldn't get out of level 1. I used edge from 04' to '06 and got great mileage but never took it above level 1. Keep in mind, this was before all of edge's so called 'updates' for trans shifting and other features. and I'd get a dieselsite coolant filter instead. |

1. The AFE is as good as another for that particular part.
2. If you are using the Edge just for monitoring then great! For tuning though, I would use SCT. 3. I prefer the PMM coolant filter over the others because it doesn't require ANY cutting of existing hoses. 4. Blue spring is a MUST DO "upgrade" IMO. |

1. No, this is just the intake elbow correct? Dont waste you money on that. Unecessary and you wont much see much gains with your mods.
2. Yes on the CTS, but just get the insight. If you want a tuner get a SCT with custom tunes. 3. I dont think any of the major ones are bad. I have a dieselsite one. I like it, but like someone said the PMM requires no cutting so thats a plus. 4. Yes, good piece of mind to update that. Get a fuel pressure sensor for you CTS so you can really know what it is. |

I still would recomment the SCT, edge doesnt tune the transmission. SCT does and when you start adding more power is better that you tranny knows how to handle it. The torqshift can handle about 500hp, but only if its told how.

My 6.0 has a 6spd trans so i should be able to control the power right but im not sure how it would work the the 6spd

I think for a tuner, you are still best to get the SCT, because you have so much more flexibility in tuning. Custom tuning allows the tuner to adjust the tune for your specific wants and needs, and for any modifications that are done to the truck. All canned tuners, like the Edge, are designed for a completely stock truck. If you start upgrading parts, the canned tunes will not be able to take advantage of them.

I agree on a sct tuner...
You will blow your friends doors off all while having a safer tuner on your truck!!! He will want to get rid of his edge when you show him what custom tunes are capable of Sent from my DROIDX using AutoGuide.com App |
