Can i use my brothers SCT to find what strategy i have?

My brother has a 05 f-250 just like mine, but he has the SCT tuner and i dont. Well i want to order one from Matt at Gearhead with the SRL tune. Can i use my brothers SCT to hook up to my truck just to find out what strategy i have so i can tell Matt?

May have to return your brothers truck back to stock first.

Yes you can. You do not have to do anything to your brothers truck. Just plug it into your port and it will boot up. You will be able to get the info you need. It also works for trouble codes. Contrary to popular belief, it will not use an unlock. It will only use an unlock if you download a program to your truck. Just reading strategy and/or trouble codes from other trucks is no problem.

+1 i do this between my truck and my sisters. it will not us an unlock unless you put his to stock and tune yours.
