SCT Question
I have a SCT Livewire that I use to program my truck with custom tunes.
My question is could the SCT be used to program another 6.0 with a canned tune? I know every time the programmer is used on another vehicle it uses a unlock. I'm just wondering if I can keep a custom tune on my truck and still use the tuner to program a canned tune on another truck?

No you can't, like most aftermarket tuner, once you load a tune into a vehicle, it locks to that vehicle and can't be used on another until you return the original vehicle back to stock tune.
Another note: you can't share custom tunes either. The tune writers lock the custom tunes to the SCT device serial number and will only work on that exact SCT device. |

Ok thanks. I knew that custom tune could not be used on different truck because of the different strategy codes.
