CAC tube/hose

WHat is a CAC tube? I had my truck at the dealer to get checked over before warrenty runs out and they replaced my CAC tube/hose? Just curious.

I think they just replace the boot on the hot side of the turbo looks like this but it should be blue in color http://www.dieselsite.com/instock-20...ementboot.aspx this is just for a pic there boots suck.

Dont use hose dieselsite boots. Search for the thread and you will see why.

Mine had plastic and they changed them out to metal under warrentee. It's the tubes that connect your intercooler (CAC) to your turbo and intake elbow. The big round pipes under your hood.

Ok cool, I don't get to pick it up till monday they just phoned and said my CAC was replaced and they were waiting on some valve for my heater. Thanks all!
