Your cost to do ARP Studs
Pressure gauge on the degauss bottle pegs at 15
![]() Well it was inevitable. Just got the paperwork in the mail from the Dallas Loncar Lawyers wanting to know if i'd participate in a class action and what I've done to the truck since i bought it new, now i'll even have more to add. ![]() What should i be expecting to spend over the next few days weeks? Best place to buy the parts myself? My Dealer Mechanic will likely perform the work, i don't have the time nor tools and lift. Denny |

Well I think I got a pretty good deal getting the studs put in my truck. I bought the studs for $460 and paid $2900 to get everything installed. That $2900 covered all new gaskets, new thermostat, ELC coolant, getting heads checked for flatness and cracks, new glow plugs, Turbo drain tube upgraded, new stand pipes and dummy plugs, and installation of the studs.

Theres a guy by me in Northern CA, does it for about $4-4.5k. Didn't have a lot of time to talk to him but he replaces a lot of the upgraded parts like the stc fitting as well. He also throws in a bulletproof egr cooler. But if you just want bare minimum (just head studs and gaskets its about $3k. I'm starting to save now. Plus he was a former Ford tech.

go to the bullet proof website and find installers. Chances are if they install BPD oil coolers they also install ARP studs. Thats how I found a bunch of local shops that I didn't know about otherwise.
