Mobil 1 diesel oil???

Hey guys. I'm looking to start doing synthetic. I have always run Mobil one in my gas trucks and I found the 5w40 Mobil 1 synthetic that says diesel engines on it... Is this a good oil?? I hear everyone say rotella. I'm going to be working in ND so cold is going to be affecting me a bit. Thanks guys.

Yup, I use it in my f-350. I am very happy with it. I have gone 8,000 miles on it with the bypass oil filter. I am in the porcess of going 10,000miles.

I only buy it when it is on sale. I have not bought it full price in 3 years.

In the past I have read reports on oil and mobil was a better oil than rotella.

Mobile 1 diesel oil says in the big trucks guarantee million miles so I would suppose it should be good for yours too. And that's not even the synthetic that I'm talking about. I don't run synthetic but I change my oil every 5,000 miles though
