Speedo quit working and a loss of power

Hello,
My speedo quit working and my turbo will not boost past about 15 psi.

I have a 05 f-250 with the egr cooler delete and cat delete. A couple of weeks ago i had a new double din pioneer stereo, amp, subs, and door speakers installed.
I only mention that because when i was searching this problem, someone posted the exact same problem and also just had a stereo installed. Once he unhooked the stereo, the speedo started working and his power went back to normal. But he didnt list what the exact problem was.
Has anyone ever ran into this problem?

Thank you
Chuck

The primary input for vehicle speed is the rear diff speed sensor. These are a fairly common part to go bad and they'll usually leave a C1236 stored in the ABS module or a P0500 stored in the PCM.

Do you have any way to scan for codes?

We put another speedo cluster out of a junk f-250 and it worked fine and the boost was working fine again. Then all of a sudden it all quit again. Got to have a short somewhere but the scan guage isnt showing any codes. So now we are down to tracking it wire by wire. It has to be something to do with the new stereo that was installed, or at least thats what i figure.

i had my double din stolen out of my truck and my speedo quit working so i pulled the dash off and looked around didn't see anything so i put it back together and now it has been working since all i can think is maybe a pinched wire or something
