EGR cooler delete - EGR valve removal, worth it?
Hey y'all, wondering what ya think.... I ditched my truck's EGR cooler last summer but never removed the EGR valve. Is there any benefit to taking it out? If not, maybe I'll just leave it in there.
If I do take it off, is it worth anything? Maybe someone here or on E-bay needs one? |

I think leave it in. I have read that the fan clutch will not operate correctly with the egr valve unplugged or removed... Dont have any factual data to back that up though...

if you remove it, you will get better flow from the intake. "from what i have read and been told." the fan clutch thing as i have read could also be true. ive unplugged mine for about 3 months and dont notice any difference in my truck or on the cts.
