07 2wd lug nut ?

Ok so I know supposingly the trucks studs are 14mm x 1.5pitch. The thing is, I have a set of wheels that i bought for my 02 which has 14mm x 2.0pitch studs and came with deep reach lug nuts. Well, these wheels will be going on my 07 which is also a 2wd, so I thought, great, I already have the lug nuts. I went to test fit them and its a no go. Apparently the thread size and pitch is different.

On the stock lugnut, i measured inside it using calipers and came up with .491'' On the supplied 14mm lug nuts i measured .465''. Granted I know good and well these stock nuts are metric, so reading inches wont tell me squat. But what it does tell me is that my studs are not 14mm x 1.5pitch like Ive been reading they are.

So I have to buy a set of 32 lugnuts, deep reach, acorn style for my Eagle wheels. Other than taking a nut off, which can be painful (haha, im sick, I know) and bringing it to the shop to spec it out, is there any other way to tell what size it is?

I am a machinist for the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. Ive been an inside machinist for 5 years now, and a 1st class one for 2 of those years. We have the tools to check threads, like I said, Im lazy.

Ill post a pic of the wheels once they're on the truck with my in shop, made by me, 2.25'' front coil spacers.
