bitter sweet weekend
so had a bit of an up and down weekend i suppose. sweet part was that i got my cts and exhaust order! bitter part was and dont kill me cause i did this but it was the first oil change since the studs bein put in so i figured they could look at it to see if they fudged something well that was last friday and like a bonehead i didnt look to see if they got everything buttoned up well i drove all week and drove bout 250 mile trip before i noticed they forgot the oil cap!
So i now have a 6$ advance auto parts oil cap, last time i let them work on my truck

ford forgot to put the oil fill cap on my truck also one time during some warranty work didn't really hurt anything

fill cap, sorry. i dont think it would run that long without the filter cap? ive heard of people using the wix filter and it blowing the filter cap off and they dont make it far after that

I figured you meant that, just checking. I don't see that as being a big deal to 'kill you' over.

well i just noticed today, but it doesnt seem to be runnin any different and when i got back from the return 200 miles(total weekend i drove bout 450 miles) i let it cool down and check the dipstick and it was up till the max line so not sure yet

the part of taking it to a dealer to do the oil change was that part, i like to do my own so i know what is actually going in and what it looks like coming out
