Anyone have a service manual handy to check on a clearance spec
Does anyone have a service manual handy to check on a clearance spec. I'm looking for the clearance spec for the piston wrist pin to connecting rod bushing maximum allowable clearance. I had the small end bushing honed/resurfaced and want to make sure its not too loose. This is a 2006 engine.
Thanks guys |

sorry but there is nothing listed in the workshop manual for connecting rod-to-pin clearance
the only spec I can give you that may help is wrist pin diameter 33.9975-34.0025 mm (1.3385-1.3387 in) There is nothing listed for connecting rod pin bore diameter either Last edited by sinner6.0L; 03-04-2012 at 03:53 PM. |

Darn...I'll have to go with best practice clearance methods other engine builders use.
