Because I got a screamin deal and it was the exact truck I'd been looking for, for a few years. What issues? Your 6.0 is only as good as your mechanic...take care of it and it'll take care of you!

plus I wanted another one and I got a great deal on it.

Funny story I did the usual thing went and checked around besides where I always buy my vehichles. Get to one place and 5 different sale men tried to sell me the same duramax before I could even get back in the truck. So when I went back to he ford dealership where I always buy my vehichles from the same guy the first thing I said to him when he asked me how it's going. I said well I didn't come to a ford dealership to buy a d*** Chevy or dodge and he replied we don't even except anything but a ford as a trade in so why would I try and sell you something that you have already paid for with your tax dollars.

Screaming deal here too-not quite 2 years old (it's an 07) with 46K for 27,500 out the door-ESP included. I wanted an 8 foot bed more than anything, and couldn't imagine getting another 5.4-I traded in an 02 F150. It had everything I wanted for options, especially carpet delete!

I got an awesome deal on a 07 Lariat loaded and i always wanted a diesel. Now i'll play the game and see how many miles i can get out of it. i'm going to do the common stuff like studs, bulletproff EGR cooler and maybe oil cooler too, switch to ELC (have on hand now), coolant filter (have now but didn't install yet). Performance wise im doing a SCT, MBRP exhaust cool duals and thats probably about it.

i'm hoping for 300,000 plus once i get it all straightened out.
