Pics of my oil cooler failure

Here's some pics from my oil cooler failure and repair from several months ago. The mechanic finally sent me the pics and I thought I'd share them. It was pretty rough... Anyway, here they are.

Yessir, it was a complete mess! If I had it to do over again, I'd buy a reman from Performance Machine Mfg... But it's all better now, finally...

wow, look at that front cover! I think we know why your oil cooler failed, now the better question is, what caused it to cavitate? That's not exactly common on a 6.0

I think he is talking about the truck in the first pic the OP posted that clearly has a 6.7 badge on the door. I was wondering the same thing.
