Edge Insight CTS with SCT SF3 or SCT TSX? Torn
I'm torn on what I want to put on my 2005 Ford F-350 SuperDuty with 117,000 miles.
My first install is going to be an egr delete kit. What I can't choose between is having the edge insight cts as my gauges and SCT SF3 as my tuner or just go with the SCT Touch Screen that is all in one (gauges and tuner). To me it sounds more practical to have an all in one setup but what does everyone think? Is there any difference with those as tuners/gauges? |

I guess I left the SCT Livewire off my list due to it looking like it's in the stone age, but if you all like that feel free to explain.

Go with the SCT X-3 for tuner, and Edge Insight for the monitor. Why? Because the Insight will monitor more info than the SCT products.

I'm interested in the SCT TSX as well. I'm more interested in the amount of engine parameters I want to be able to monitor without having a cab full of gauges. Does the SCT TSX monitor, EOT, ECT, FP, OP, EGT, Boost, TFT, Battery volts? I really don't have a problem putting four gauges on the pillar and the other four on an overhead console, that would just be a lot of work. haha I can't find anything about what it or the Edge CTS monitors. I like the idea of the Edge CTS as a monitor with SCT tunes as well.
I also found the EDGE CTS has an option for up to 8 gauges monitored at once. I like this option and and wondering if the SCT TSX has the same??? Last edited by onebadcoastie; 03-11-2012 at 07:10 PM. |
