Vgt% at idle

What is your vgt% at idle when warm? I read Somewhere that 73% is normal

Mine stays at 62%

Accoring to a Ford tech's info.

With motor up to operating temps.

KeyOn=0
LowIdle=73
High Idle=43 (high idle for this is 2500rpms)
Operating Range=0-100 %

Mine runs around the same as yours, sometimes 75%

Not necessarily. No one really knows if the VGT% that is shown is what the computer is calling for or if it's the actual position of the vanes.

You should know if its sticking if you have a code p132b. It wont set a cil but the code would be in there. If its not in there I would not worry about it.

It is what the computer is commanding. There are tests that need to be done to see if the vanes are moving as commanded.

Here is some great reading on the turbo, and diagnostics for it.

Also, some readings for idle and WOT.
