ummmm...

I would be careful and leery about the mileage...

Carfax usually doent lie on that stuff. Maybe they put a lower odometer/cluster in

Never ever ever trust a carfax report. 60% of them are largely incorrect.

Ive had them done on all of my prior vehicles. Most were so inaccurate its funny.

HEY BE CAREFUL... look at the carfax the 4th owner only owned the truck for a month and a half and the miles went from 117xxx to 155xxx.... Im assuming its almost impossible to put that many miles on a truck in a month and a half... but what i do have questions about is why is the guy selling it only after a month and a half....

i guess what happen is that the truck has been leased 2 times now and has been sold at an auction 2 times.

So really there has been 2 owners

it has 117,xxx this small dealer took it to ford to have it looked over and serviced and they jacked the miles up when recored

The carfax looks to me like you have a new tool for the negotiations. I would not just point out that it has higher miles I would act like it is a big deal to me that someone has messed with the actual mileage. They are not going to want to rock the boat on the mileage discrepancy, they are just going to want to get it off their hands. Could be a deal to be had! I woud pull out the Carfax and offer 15K and hopefully buy the truck at 16k-16,500!
