5" mbrp straight install?
I jut ordered my 5" turbo back mbrp kit and have been getting prices to get it installed looks like the cheapest so far is $172. I was thinking about doing it my self but wanted to get yalls advise on the install.
Would it be worth the 172 to have it done? How big off a pain in the a** would b to install this kit myself? Any tips or advise Thanks |

Dont pay. Its easy with common hand tools. I just put a 5" MBRP kit on my 06 two weeks ago. The hardest part was the removal of the old system. Lube all the rubber hangers and clamps with penetrating oil. And, dont be afraid to be forceful when removing the old hangers out of the rubber hangers. It might help if you had an extra set of paws to hold the downpipe to the turbo when reattaching but it is possible to do by yourself. Everything lined up and fit perfect with the kit. You wont have any problems. Save your $$$.
