Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge

Been trying to decide on a gauge or monitoring solution and think ive found it. From what Ive read, the Aeroforce interceptor is bad ***. It reads and monitors everything, and can have things such as fuel pressure and EGT added to read. My truck is a truck and while I like some vehicles with gauge pods and lots of gauges, I want the interior of this one to be ''clean''.

Ive decided to get the column pod mount from Autometer and pick up a gauge from either Aeroforce themselves, or Terminator Engineering. Im debating because Terminator offers them with a silver face and bezel and that will match my Lariat gauges which are also silver.

Im going to add the fuel psi and EGT sensors to my order, regardless of which place I order through.

I searched and saw lots of these gauges being used by 7.3L guys and not too many 6.0L. Is there a reason? Or do you guys just like the big face monitoring of an edge cts?

I went to there website, I'm not seeing EOT or FICMv listed, both of these are very important to the 6.0.

Lilpooh,

which website? Aeroforce or Terminator? Im about to go check them both and see. If this gauge wont monitor those things, what other option do I have? Ive considered a Torque app/bluetooth obd. I looked at the cts, but $400 is alot, and it doesnt monitor EGT or fuel PSI, both of which are important, just as EOT and FICMv to me.

11. THROTTLE POS PCT- Throttle Position percentage (0-100%). Will typically read
around 10-90%.
12. PEDAL POSITION – Similar to Throttle pos. but is rescaled to read the full 0-100
range.
13. MILES PER HOUR g - Miles Per Hour
14. AMBIENT AIR – Air temp before the air filter.
15. IGNITION ADVANCE g - ignition timing advance
16. MAP g – Manifold Absolute Pressure.

18. EXHAUST BACK PRESSURE ps – Displayed in kPa
19. ICP DC ps – Injector Control Pressure Duty Cycle (2003-2007)
20. ICP PRESSURE ps – Injector Control Pressure (psi) (2003-2007)
21. INJ. PW – Injector pulse width
22. INJ. TIMING ps – Injector Timing in Degrees BTDC
23. ENGINE OIL TEMP ps
24. VGT DC ps – Variable Geometry Turbo Duty Cycle
25. BATTERY VOLTAGE- Alternator/battery output voltage
26. ENGINE LOAD g -calculated Engine Load (0-100%)
27. Transmission Slip (Auto trans)
28. Miles Per Gallon – instantaneous fuel economy
29. Calculated net horsepower
30. EGT1 ps – EGT sensor 1 (2008+ Power Stroke)

I see EOT (engine oil temp) in your above post, but don't see FICMv.

Here is the link I was looking at.
http://www.aeroforcetech.com/products_interceptor.html

Your best bet would be to call them and get a complete list that it can do for the 6.0 PSD.

Edit: you may be able to ask them to add FICMv to the gauge.

Unless you can get it cheaper somewhere else, but on the website I was on, the ford single gauge was $249, then add in EGT amp $100, EGT probe $64, and fuel psi sensor $65. That puts you up to $478.

Yeah i worked it out in my head to about $480 plus bezel/column pod. however, truth be told, if the gauge does FICMv, its worth the cost. Lets face it, these trucks need these gauges, and for me simpler is better. If I were to go with the torque app for droid, Im in $105 for app and the reader connector. Does the Torque app read FCIMv? $145 for egt gauge, $75 for fuel psi, $45 for pillar pod. That puts us at $360. About $100 in savings or so. Im not nit picking about $ here, I just want to buy one setup and call it a day.

Goose, was getting ready to mention that but i lost wifi access. Im going to call them tomorrow and see if they offer ficmv and what their thoughts are on eot.

Im hating to say it, but its looking more and more like a cts is in my future. almost wish this truck was simple like a 7.3L where you could throw a triple pillar pod and $250 worth of gauges on them and be set for life haha. Love my 6.0!
