where do these o rings go?
I'm replacing the oil stand pipe on the passenger side of my 05' F350. While i was in there i kinda wanted to replace the dummy plug o rings. I ordered the o rings from my ford dealership but the ones they sent me dont seem to be right ones or even the right amount. They only sent me two. They are 3c3z9n693ba part number. If they dont fit the dummy plugs then where do they go? Thanks guys.

The last I checked you can't get just the dummy plug o-rings. You have to get the whole plug. Do you have a pic of the o-ring kit you got?

Those are the o-rings for where the fuel lines attach to the secondary fuel filter housing. Such as the one in this picture:

damn the guys at the ford dealership are smokin some good stuff. Well now that i have the orings i can either wait for a leak or go ahead and replace em.

I wouldn't replace them unless I had them apart.
As far as the parts department... the catalog is horrible for some of the diesel stuff. I've looked at the pics, pointed out what I wanted and still gotten the wrong parts. |

i too always have to make them point the computer screen towards me when they are looking stuff up lol, anymore when they see me walking through the door they always sit down grab a pen, pad of paper and turn the computer screen toward the counter so i can see it and start chuckling...i usually get the right parts now but sometimes the parts diagrams are difficult to compehend.
