im looking into these and wanting to know if this is what i would need when running bigger injectors to supply the right amount of fuel?

does it automatically know how much fuel you need?

just trying to find out more info on this

Yes the DF-165 will supply the fuel needed to fuel bigger injectors. You manage the fuel by setting the fuel pressure regulator. Many of us that go to bigger injectors and aftermarket fuel pumps also upgrade the fuel lines and banjo bolts on the front of the heads to 6.4 banjo's that are less restrictive.
