4" downpipe install

So i have my exhaust and everything ready to go on, but was wondering where everyone cut the old downpipe to get it out and how hard the 4" one was to get back in. And im assuming you have to pull it out through the bottom and put it in from the bottom up, it doesnt look like it would be able to be pulled out from the top since the cowling hangs over to far

Its not too bad but its not fun like MBRP says it is. I cut mine right at the bend.
