Batttery Indicator Light on dash???

The battery light is coming on and going off everytime I drive. Truck starts like a champ and runs as good as every. Both batteries are new and are hi-end/heavy duty Exides.

This started happening about a week ago.

Any thoughts or suggestions??

Alternator might not be charging them to the best it can. go get your alternator checked at Advance or someplace like that, you don't even have to take it off, but the bench test is more accurate.

I had the same problem on my truck, it would come on and off never stay on, most likely your alternator, if you have a multi meter you can check the voltage to see if it drops when the light is on. I had mine replaced and so far so good no lights.

It's the voltage regulator which is in the alternator. Replace the alternator with a Motorcraft. Don't get any other kind, unless it is a high end alternator. I just went through this and went to autozone for a new alternator. The 3rd alternator finally worked, but I'm waiting to see when this one will crap out.
