Where does all the built up pressure go after you left off a hard throttle?

It's a vgt turbo, so the unison ring moves the vanes when you let off the throttle.

This my first diesel Thats why just wondering. Is it good to let truck idel for min or so to cool it down after long drive or hard pull?

Yes, let her cool down after a hard run or tow before you shut down.

Another reason to have aftermarket gauges!!
