Strategy...Tuner...What to do??
So, I've been reading so much about FICM tuning and strategies that I think my head might explode!
Checked out PHP and it sounds like I could benefit from a different strategy (running VXCF9H7 now) and FICM tune. Sounds like $300 bucks for both if I'm reading it right which seems like a lot, but if it helps my fuel economy...
Is anyone using any of the "custom power levels" that you can choose from? I'm assuming that if you get that, then that's what it will always be, right?
I'm not looking to hit the track or anything, but I figure if it's included in the price I might as well get a little performance out of it.
It also sounds like if I use one of the custom power levels, it may not jive with a tuner if I decide to do that some day? And it sounds like the Gryphon from PHP forces you to use ONLY PHP tunes, so I would probably go with a SCT of some sort.
I'm going to be installing a V3 system soon too. Any thoughts on strategy and or tuning when running WVO? I know it's more of a question for the alt fuel section, but you 6.0 guys are mostly on here anyway.
Not sure if there's a clear question here...I've searched the site quite a bit but if anyone knows of a thread that spells it all out clearly please let me know.
