How nice are we?

So if someone were to find 08 black door panels for a great price at a salvage yard would you let that person pay you and then you ship them to them? I know this is very faith based but could it work? Yes, I did find just a set but the yard doesn't ship. I'm 12 hours away and $300 in fuel and time just makes it impossible for me to drive there.

Years ago, I owned a Ford Ranger and some Ranger owners helped each other doing this same thing.

macoyle - you are actually in prime country to do this...Texas has tons of great salvage yards with decent prices. Michigan seems to be second...go figure.

All my interior parts were from Michigan, I haven't seen any decent places around here

Where ships from there if? What was your shipping cost? If you don't mind me asking.

It was shipped freight, don't remember the company but for the interior it was 300 and the door panels were 100

I had a guy do that for me. It was for a bumper. gave him a little extra for doing it. And it all worked out exactly as planned. Just make sure its a guy that gets on here frequently.

It's all about trust....once broken it's hard to believe any person. For this I suggest local GTGs or even bigger national events. Sometimes shaking a hand or just talking to someone in person is the best way to make contacts.
