CCV hose - what did you use for hose?
So I finally got around to installing my CCV mod. I debated using several different types of hose/tubing and finally just used tygon tubing since I didn't have any black hose that could stand up to the oil handy.
After looking at it I'm considering buying something similar to this (click me). It says it can stand up to fuel/oil and other stuff. My third option and possibly the easiest and cheaper is to sleeve the tubing with something that looks a little better. Just wanted to see what others are using so please post up. Mine for reference. And yes I know my degas bottle is burbing all over, I over filled after installing my coolant filter...

I just got some heater hose from Lowes. I think it was like $20 or less.
That is some nice hose Summit has, but is prob not necessary. I wouldnt blow $100 on that unless you just have unlimited funds. The oil barely flows so that hose is overkill IMO. Nice though. |
