Questions before I buy!!!

I am looking at an '06 PSD LB CC 4x4. 102k, Manual transmission. It has a salvage title but i dont know why. I am doing a carfax right after this post to see if i can get some info. I am buying from a very reputable used parts, towing, auto repair and U-pull it center here in Billings, MT. They bought it at a salvage auction and put a new EGR (stock, not a delete) and ran it through their diagnostics. It runs great, smooth, but the injectors do cycle after you turn it off. At least that is what i think it is doing? does that sound right, is that normal? they are asking $13,200 and willing to sell it for $12,000. I rarely haul anything and it will only be on the highway maybe 8 times a year. Should i be worried about the stock EGR? If I buy i will be looking for an edge Insite, EGT probe, and a tuner, what tuner should I get? does anyone have any for sale? Sorry, i know this is a lot but i need some feedback before I make a decision. thanks in advance.

If you have the VIN, see if your local Ford dealer will run an OASIS report for you. That plus the Carfax should give you at least a little history of the truck...
