tousley blue spring kit

I got the upgraded blue spring kit from tousley ford in the mail today and there is no spring in it, the part number is 3c3z-9t517-ag, it says it is the regulator kit. If anyone could let me know if they gave me the wrong part I would appreciate it. thanks

That is definitely not the "blue spring" kit or part number.

Edit: Blue spring kit part number (without cover) should be 6E7Z-9C165-B if I remember right...

The kit with the housing is Part # 3C3Z-9T517-AE , only difference being the E on the end of the correct part # vs. the G on the end of yours.

Makes sense to me that they screwed up on that one and not the kit without the housing that I posted earlier, being that the numbers are so close.

I just went and looked at my part package that I ordered to do the blue spring. It is the same as the one you posted. 3c3z-9t517-ag. It did have the blue spring.

Did yours have a spring at all in it?

Strange, the -AG must be some updated number or something. I was getting my info from this post:

Here, I went out and took a picture of the package my blue spring came in. It is the complete kit, housing and such.

Not sure, but that is a good picture of the o-ring kit. I hadn't seen that post. It is less expensive for the o-ring kit, than the one I just posted with the housing.

I still haven't swapped out my spring, so I'm not sure if the part number pictured (ending in -A) is right. I mentioned in that thread that the spring itself isn't blue like many I've seen pictured. I took the kit back to the local dealer and asked about the A vs B part number and he said they had been merged in their system, so they were the same thing. It's been a rough couple of weeks, so I haven't had a chance to pull my spring and compare it to the one in the kit before I tear it open. Hopefully this week...

i don't see a spring anywhere in there and i don't want to open it and not be able to return it, i'm getting ready to go to work so i'll give them a call tomorrow

It may have been missed during packaging. Yeah, I wouldn't open it. They will probably work with you on this.
