No block heater??????
This is my third psd.. The other two had plug for block heater. It got down to freezing temps last week,so I decided to plug her in for the first time! Searched for plug near drivers tow hook area.. But it has none. Any suggestions/answers as to why it didn't come with plug from factory?

I didn't find mine the first time either, after searching more, it was by the passenger side tow hook.

They don't usually come stock with the plug. I bought the cord and looked at the directions from ford on installing it myself and they were crappy directions. I ended up paying them to install it.

I think it was 2006 that Ford limited the cord to trucks that were heading to cold climates. All the trucks will have the heater installed in the block on the passenger side of the motor. You might have to purchase a cord from the dealer or selected vendors online.

I bought a cord and installed it. Easy to do.

Get the cord that Ford fanatic posted and use the directions he posted. Just did it Friday night. Took me 5 mins.
