Coolant/degas cap

Not knowing about the Ford bulletin I topped up my coolant to the Full line and subsequently it ended up in the engine compartment via the cap. My question is, Once the cap releases do i need to purchase another cap? or will it still only release with to much pressure(16 psi i think it is)?
