Block Heater cord install

Hey everyone, finaly went and bought an engine block heater cord. I am planning on doing the install tomorrow or Sunday. I did read the write up on the install which was really helpful, especially the pictures. For everyone that has completed one of these in the past, is it a pain? Any helpful hints? Also, how long should I take for the install? Thanks guys!

Took me 10 mins MAX! I spent a few extra mins putting the correct clips in and making it look stock. Then took a few mins to tape everything up for added security. Works like a champ and love it. Helpful hint is wear a jacket because the ground is cold this time of year.

I finally got the cord installed, and it wasnt to bad. I hid the wires as best as possible. To secure the wire in one spot, I did zip tie it to what looks like a brake line wire of somekind. It runs next to the frame and had a metal wire wrapping around it to prevent wear and tear from rubbing. Does this cord get hot while driving? I have pictures of what I am talking about but I am not sure how to embed them. What are your thoughts? Also, how tight does the bolt have to be that goes to the engine block heater to the cord? I have it pretty tight, but didn't want to over do it. Thanks guys!
