Are you speaking of the copper washers? that goe on either side of the banjo bolt on the filter housing? if so, bismic they wouldnt be the phenelic(spelling may be off) washers correct?

bismic 12-11-2012 06:43 PM

contains (2)-W302472 bolts, (4)-W303659 washers

not sure what the part number is for the copper ones - they may be re-usable?? I don't think that the copper is any better though.

Yes they are copper .i believe it's the feed line that goes on the housing.i could reuse the old ones, but thought I needed to get new ones after each use or once loosened.

There is no reason to insist on going back w/ copper. The ones for the 6.4L (viton I believe) work just fine.

As long as they are the same size, i agree, i am not 100% sure they are, IIRC when i did my banjo's they were roughly the same size but im not 100% certain

I tried to order these from Ford and the parts guy couldnt find them on his computer, so i ended up searching for the one i lost and ended up finding it, if the 6.4 non copper ones are the same size i would run them

So if your parts guy is smarter than mine let me know the part number lol

If you still aren't sure, here is a link to others opinion ...

if you still aren't sure, they are only a few dollars ...........

When I did my studs I am pretty sure I got new ones ,I actually think it was my local ford dealer, that found them but can't quite remember.I am not stuck on having to use copper,I was just saying what is there now.I could be wrong but they look bigger then the banjo bolt washers.thanks
