Oil Dip Sticks

So here is some clarification on the engine oil dipsticks...

3C3Z6750AA --- supposed to be for the 03-05's --- T-handle
6C3Z6750A --- supposed to be for the 06-07's --- Ring Handle

Turns out, my '06 has the T-handle... go figure (the 03-05 part).

The ring handle part is not interchangeable with the t-handle. The ring handle one doesn't fit in the dip tube.

The ring handle one is also 1/3 the price... also go figure. At least this was a cheap mistake.

It is an F-series (F350 XLT SRW).

I would suspect it is an early MY build change. I can't recall off the top of my head which part of the MY it was built it... but I am pretty sure it is early.

I just want to say thank you to all of you who have helped contribute to getting this list compiled! My truck just turned 100k miles and this list will be invaluable in getting the parts rounded up to update my motor so that the next 100k miles can be as reliable as the first.

Not to hijack the thread, but if anybody would like to PM me a list of things that they would recommend that I change or update to ensure reliability, I am open to ideas. I have a late model 2005 F250 Powerstroke. The part I'm up in the air about is whether to change out the HPOP now or wait until/if it fails? Thank you.
