Is there an additive or something I can use to help? I've had my sensor replaced and I still get the light at least once a month. I drain it, it comes back, I drain it again, etc, etc. Thanks
Remove the drain plug, remove the cap and filters.
You will need one full can of carb cleaner.
Bend the straw to about a 45° angle on the can of carb cleaner. Insert straw into drain hole.
Spray in every direction you can liberally. Redish brown junk should come out. I actually used 1-1/2 cans, and haven't seen the light ever since.
bout a full tank of diesel then next morning the WIF light came on. ive drained the plug and cycled the ignition light went away but came back on after 45 min of driving. so i drained it again and no light.
