has anyone used rough country?

I am looking into buying a 6" 4-link lift from rough country. top gun customz has one on ebay right now for $1700 buy it now obo and it looks pretty good. comes with new front coils and rear leaf springs(no blocks). so i guess i'm asking what anyone has heard or even better if anyone has this kit...

If the kit in this link is the same one you are looking at, then it is half the cost.

I dont have that kit, I have the leveling kit but I like the company.

used rough country lift on my jeep about 5 years ago. it lasted 1 mild 4 wheelin trip. by the end of the day my springs were sagging and i was sitting with about 1 inch of lift. stay away from junk and buy yourself a quality kit from another mfg.

I have that kit, and yes you have a 2005 so not the same as the second post. Kit is good. You have a f350. so you will nee f250 blocks to make it a 6" kit. Your f350 blocks are to big for the u bolts they give you. I have f250 blocks for sale right now. I have since changed the kit to an 8" kit and will be going up further from there but overall a good kit. Recently had a leaf spring crack and they are sending out a new one for free under warranty. Young mt hick: did you have to adjust the 4-link bars or did they come pre set?

You have to set them up. They give you a measurement and you set the lock nut to that length

Like stated above, they are junk! BDS, Procomp or another high quality lift company would be much better. I had a 6'' Rough Country on my 2004 and I had broken leaf springs, sagged after a year and over all just low quality stuff with ****ty steel. Went and had a 6'' BDS put in and 2 years later no sagging or broken leafs.
