$3.59/Gal...WooHoo??
Local Valero is 3.59/gal...Not too bad these days right?? But there is this disclaimer:
![]() Biodiesel or Renewable Diesel?? I know what biodiesel is but exactly how does one "Renew" diesel? If it can be renewed, I've been through quite a bit of it lately and could really use some renewing. While we're at it my '03 could use a lil renewing to a 2012. ![]() Just kidding, I wouldn't trade her in for the world. Too much sweat and too many busted knuckles invested. So what the heck is "Renewed" diesel?? |

Renewable diesel is some form of bio-diesel. may be a version containing veg oil or other Bio products. Its called B5 here.

I paid $3.55 for good ol #2, not B5, at the Safeway station here in Vancouver, WA. The price has been that way for about a week. I saw this morning that it went up to $3.71 though. However, its still the cheapest in town with all the other stations charging around $3.95.

No sir, Valero is not owned by Venezuela, you're thinking of CITGO, which is owned by PDVSA (or some such acronym).
Valero is a publicly traded company and is owned by it's stock holders. |
