purging air from cooling system
So, this just came up in another thread, but I was hoping to get some more input on this in particular. Anyone else had issues getting air out of the cooling system after a flush? How would you know if all the air was out?
![]() I flushed last week and the fluid level has stayed about the same. Any input or suggestions are appreciated! |

If your not overheating you probably got the biggest part of it out. I wouldnt worry unless I started having heating issues.

I did my flush last Saturday....drove it about 20 miles on Sunday and had to top it off with a little less than a 1/2 gallon. Drove 40 miles yesterday and it needed less than a pint. Drove again 40 miles today and it needed nothing. I think it is just a matter of driving it to get it "burped" completely.
