Traded my 6.0 for a 6.4

Just wanted to say thanks to all you guys for all the help on my 6.0 and teaching me so much about it. Just got back from a 5K mile road trip vaca and she ran perfect. Still decided to trade her in mainly because i wanted the updated interior and i really do perfer the 08s lines and options.

I will still be in this forum section as it seems to be much more active then the 6.4 area and i figure a lot of the preventive type things we do on the 6.0 is just as good on the 6.4.

nice rig, first thing you gotta do is delete that DPF and chip it, your mileage will literally double. Check that radiator if it has already been replaced or not. They had a problem with them. My buddy just traded his 08' for an 2011 6.7. The 08' averaged around 21-23 mpg once he chipped and deleted the DPF.

nice looking rig, my cuz lives about a 1/2 miles from Dick's and the guy next door got his car there. Run cetane boost in the fuel to keep the pump lubed and drain some fuel every 3-4 weeks to check for water in the fuel there system to drain is better than the 6.0, and they have a different fuel system than the 6.0 Good taste in color and interior

Nice rig. When ur warranty expires delete the dpf and get a safe tune.
