Can't buy blue spring from International anymore?

I called my local International Truck dealer today and asked for the part number: 1843065C98.

After a minute or so, I was asked, "Is this for a Ford?"

I explained that the part number was an International part number, but yes, it fit the 6.0 Ford.

He then explained that it's now a "Ford only" part number and that he, as an International dealer, couldn't get it.

Anyone else run into this?

They caught ya. They will not sell so much as a bolt if you mention the forbidden "F" word (Ford).

Why? What's the harm? He said it was listed as a Ford part.

Has to do with all those lawsuits going back and forth between Ford and International. A bit of bad blood there.
When I went into the International dealer around the corner from my place, the guy behind the parts counter saw my truck and as I entered the store, he told me straight up he will not sell me anything for the 6.0 or the VT365. I was there for no less than 20 minutes just to get 4 gallons of concentrated coolant.

That seems incredibly silly... So, is there any way to get the blue spring kit via International online?

I like Tousley ok, but their shipping is ridiculous.

Try ordering the Ford version of the cheaper International kit, part number 6E7Z-9C165-B.
This is the version that does not include the regulator cover.

How did you find it? I've searched by part number and general keywords, but haven't found the Int'l one.

I'll see if I can find one - My dealer wanted $116 for the complete kit and I'm sure they'd like to steal as much $$ as possible for this one, too.

My International dealer told me they couldn't get it either. And my dealer will sell you anything if it makes them a buck.

This is the only one I could find. I got mine from this guy Maybe shoot him a message and see if he has any.

The one I got was def international, it came in the original international packaging and everything.
