Need help with part number
Hey guys, I managed to break the fuel line coming off the regulator when doing the blue spring mod. I need to know what the part number is for this hard line that I broke. I know its a return line. Just need the number so I can go the dealer tuesday and say "here, I need xxxx"..
Thanks |

Thank you very much... I was actually able to get a hold of a parts department at a local dealership and he gave me what I THOUGHT was the right number, but after looking at the schematic he gave me the wrong one. The correct part number from what I can see is "3C3Z-9C273-AA". Thanks again.

Just a side note for anyone that broke this part. I got the new part with that number and it works 100%.. HOWEVER, the bends in it are somewhat different then the original so 1. I couldn't reinstall that mount for pulling the engine nor could I install the piece that holds the 2 fuel lines together. It does work 100% though.

What year model is your engine? What part # did you install - the 3C3Z-9C273-AA part? |

2007 would be the year and Yes that part that you listed is what I installed. It is bent differently, works entirely just couldn't reuse the parts I said.

My parts list shows all of these numbers to be active:
3C3Z-9C273-AA 4C2Z-9C273-AA 5C3Z-9C273-AA 8C3Z-9C273-A (this is quite a bit more in cost than the other 3, so judging by this and the number, it is probably for a 6.4L) My guess is that the number you got was for an older year model. My list does not give applicable model years unfortunately. Last edited by bismic; 01-04-2012 at 05:40 PM. |
