Another rear leaf question, anyone tried these yet?

I found these on Precision Metal Fabs website '08 Spring Hanger Conversion for '99-07 - Precision Metal Fab and was wondering if anyone has tried this conversion? From reading the info on the site, it sounds like an interesting idea, though def not inexpensive for 2 metal blocks. If you have it, please share your experiences, from install to how well they work on your truck. Thanks!

Interesting idea. I have no doubt that these trucks keep getting better in some areas. I just wonder if the factory bracket/perch is available for less than $200 a side?

Its funny, GM went to short in the front, long in the rear type of spring for 2011-2012. They claim better ride. Ford had that 1999-2007. Now ford uses equal springs. Do they really know?

OK, I'm a little confused, I thought that the description said you could use the longer springs off of the 08 and later on the 07 and earlier models, but you seem to state the opposite? Am I reading their description incorrectly?

Stock 99-07 is short springs. Stock 08+ is long springs. On Chevys its the opposite. Until 2011 they were long springs and the new chevys are short.

Ok, that's what I thought I read. From your description above, you appeared to state the opposite. Now, to find someone who has done this conversion...

Do you recall if he mentioned anything about them, good bad or indifferent? Was he a beta tester, or did he purchase them? Is the 08-10 spring the same as the 11+? Hopefully he'll read this and chime in.
