EGR cooler

I bought a 04 6.0 in Sept. It has arp studs on it. It seems to be stock.I would like to know if there is a way to tell if it had a oiler cooler delete put on it without tearing into the engine?

See the part with the numbers hand written on it? That is the EGR cooler. The little blue hose (yours might still be orange) is hooked to the oil cooler (visible) then to the EGR cooler (not visible). To see this spot, look over the CAC tube coming out of the turbo.

Oh, they don't delete the oil cooler, just the EGR cooler. Unless of course someone put in a BPD external oil cooler.

Thank you Sean, I know that it is the EGR cooler. My mistake on my posting.Thank you for your reply on the EGR cooler. After it gets daylight I will go out & check.
