New Scangauge II

Ok, I bought myself a scangauge II for Christmas, my temp diff. was 15*, I think I need a new tstat because I never saw over 188 and that's with a winter front. Although I don't have any starting issues I noticed that after my glow plugs cycled my battery voltage was at 11VDC, the alt. brought them up to 13.5 within a minute or so. Batteries are about 4 years old, probably time to replace them. My other voltage was never lower than 48, almost always 48.5 - 49. I talked to both Ford dealerships near me today, about $1800 for oil cooler and egr cooler or delete, my choice, they recommended the delete though. I didn't ask which delete they used. I don't have access to a garage and it is winter up here in the north (although a pretty mild one so far). One dealer told me I needed to get a programmer to clear the EGR codes, I didn't think codes were set on an 05? Thanks. Coach

how do you like your SG II. I am trying to decide between it and a CS/CTS. It was going to be my Xmas present to myself until i had to spend the money on my car.

I like it but if I could've afforded one I would've gotten the CTS. The SG2 was only $125, the CTS is like $399.

I haven't permanently mounted it yet, it's wedged across my cup holder until I can figure it out.

Mine is mounted under the grab handle.

You can buy the ScangaugeII with a windsheild mount on Ebay for about $159.00. Thats how I got mine.

Mine I just used the velcro right under grab handle. Cord just runs under and up the side of dash.
