Anti-seize or not???
Im about to clean my turbo and Im trying to decide weather to anti-seize it or not. Wont this cause soot to stick to the unison ring and vanes? My truck is surging pretty bad when the truck is cold. Do you think this is what is causing it? Thanks for the help. Dustin

Under Assembly
It is recommended that a very light coat of Anti-Seize lubricant be applied to the turbine housing and the inner surface of the unison ring. This is to coat and protect the metal from rusting and not to lubricate the unison ring and vanes. At this time you need to verify the movement of the unison ring and vanes DTS Articles - Turbocharger Reconditioning 2 stroker |
