Dually MPG's

Hey all I'm new to the forum. I was just wondering what you guys are seeing as far as fuel mileage with a dually. I have a 2006 F-350 Dually crew cab, bone stock. Let me know what you guys are seeing in your trucks!

Truck in Sig, I managed 13.8 mpg combined and 15 on the interstate at 65mph under stock programing. My X-Race tune averages 15% better.

In the winter I'll see about a 1.5-2.2mpg loss due to the additives and warm-up time.

I am getting 13ish around town...not on the freeway much but I seem to get 18ish unloaded at 65mph. Jump up to 75mph and it drops to 15-16.

I did just put in a 4" Turbo back exhaust which I am told I should get a little better mileage, which I have not seen yet because it sounds so sweet when you jump on it!!!!

I get 16 combined with mine, managed to pull down 13.56 pulling a 16k# load today at 65mph. I can get 18ish unloaded at 60 but I rarely go that slow.

I would LOVE to get those 18 mpgs... never got it stock and don't get it now with all of the upgrades. Do the strategies affect mpgs? Or does that not matter after tuning? Not meaning to hijack- I'm just wondering. BTW- Welcome to the ORG!!!

Strategy does make a difference, thats why some folks like PHP will do a rollback with them to one that's better for mileage. My numbers are also with a manual trans so keep that in mind as well.

I was wondering the same. Mine gets 12.4 in town. It seems like the harder I drive it the better the mileage gets. LOL Programmed I got 14.2 in town beating on it. I had to give the programmer back though.

Should I be concerned? I only get about 9 around town, I only travel about 10 miles to work, when pulling a 12k/13k fifth wheel I get about 10 -11 on the highway and still 9 around town. I have an 06 f350 superduty dually with 97k on it.
