Tranny temp
Hey guys merry Christmas to everyone I got a tranny temp gauge and fuel pressure gauge for Christmas I was wondering what the tranny temp should be at on the hi way? At a idle I got about 54 psi of fuel pressure but I haven't put the blue spring in yet

I believe the general rule is 60-70* over ambient.

My trans is 140-150 normal driving. A bit higher when towing.

Mine sits around 145 to 150 unloaded and about 165 to 170 when towing my 10,000lb fifthwheel.

Humm.. With my Torque app mine is reading 180's empty with 30's ambient, basically kind of goes with the coolant temp. I hope it is reading wrong. what could be the problem if it is actually that hot? The fluid looks and smells good, I was planning on doing a fluid and filter change in the near future.

So I have been running stock for the past few 100 miles. I just realised that my trans runs warmer by about 8* when stock. Makes total sense since the shifts are not as firm!
